| The annual visit from the barn swallows is here! For the past seven or eight years, we have been fortunate enough to have one or more barn swallow families take up residence on our porch. They return around this same time each year, fortify the existing nests (we haven't the heart to knock them down), and settle in. Four or five babies will hatch in a couple of weeks. It's amazing to watch as the new barn swallows enter the wide world. And now you can watch and listen along with us! The bird cam is up and focused on the back porch nest. You will need to use Internet Explorer for viewing. http://birdcam.selfip.com:800/ | |
